About Us

We are pet parents first. Everything else comes second.

Pawsitive Hoomans was not built in a boardroom. It was built at 2am, in a panic, with a sick puppy and no reliable answers.

The Story Behind Pawsitive Hoomans

Ruby is an indie dog. She came into our lives the way most great things do — unexpectedly, completely, and without warning. Today she is five years old, full of opinions, and absolutely convinced that the sofa belongs to her.

A few years ago, Ruby had three puppies. We were overjoyed. Then, in a moment that still stays with us — one of the puppies became. We didn’t react on time.

We asked our WhatsApp groups. We got some responses, some silence, and a lot of uncertainty. By the time we got to the vet, it was too late. We lost that puppy.

That guilt does not go away. But it can be redirected.

We asked ourselves: why, in 2026, does a pet parent in Noida have to rely on a WhatsApp group to find out if their puppy needs emergency care? Why is there no single, trustworthy, instantly accessible source of truth for the most common and most urgent pet care situations?

That question became Pawsitive Hoomans.

“We are not vets. We are not scientists. We are corporate folks from Noida with three dogs — Ruby, Vodka, and Martini — who got tired of not having reliable answers when our animals needed help.”

Who We Are

We are the Pawsitive Hoomans team — a group of pet parents with corporate backgrounds who believe that good information, delivered clearly and quickly, saves lives. Animal lives. The ones that cannot speak for themselves.

Between us, we manage a household with Ruby and her two girls — Vodka and Martini. Anyone who has managed a multi-dog household knows that the challenges are real, the emergencies are sudden, and the need for reliable, instant information is not abstract. It is 3am and your dog is breathing strangely and you need to know right now whether to rush to the emergency vet or monitor at home.

That is the gap Pawsitive Hoomans exists to close.

What Pawsitive Hoomans Is — And Is Not

✅ What we are

  • Your first point of reference for common pet care questions
  • A triage guide for urgent situations — before you reach the vet
  • A force-free, positive reinforcement community
  • A resource for dogs, cats, and cattle across India and globally
  • Built by pet parents, for pet parents

❌ What we are not

  • A replacement for your veterinarian
  • A source of medical diagnoses
  • Advocates for punishment-based training
  • Supporters of breeding over adoption
  • A generic pet content site

Our Mission

We want to reach 200,000 pet parents and caregivers across the world — people who, together, are responsible for the wellbeing of over a million animals. Dogs in apartments in Delhi. Cats on balconies in Mumbai. Cattle in villages across rural India. Street dogs who have no owner but have a feeder who shows up every morning.

Every one of those animals deserves a human who knows what to do in an emergency. Who knows what is safe to feed and what is toxic. Who knows when to go to the vet immediately and when it is safe to monitor at home.

That is what we are building. One article, one tool, one answered question at a time.
