What changed in version 1.1
- We now explain how pet photos and documents you upload (such as vaccination certificates or vet prescriptions) are stored and who can see them.
- We now list Google Analytics, which we use to count visits and see which tools are used.
- We now explain what happens if you choose to connect an AI assistant to your Pet Passport.
- We corrected where your data is processed: our database is in India, but some of our service providers work from servers outside India.
This notice explains what PawsitiveHoomans stores when you use the Pet Vaccination Tracker or create a Pet Passport, why we store it, and what control you have over it.
We have written this in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to us at pawsitivehoomanqueries@gmail.com and we will explain.
Who we are
PawsitiveHoomans (pawsitivehoomans.com) is an independent animal-welfare platform based in India, covering dogs, cats and cattle. We are not a government body, and nothing on this platform is an official, certified or verified record.

What we store
When you save a pet, we store:
- Your email address
- Your pet’s name, species, breed, sex and date of birth or estimated age
- Neuter or spay status, if you provide it
- The vaccination schedule generated for your pet
- Any vaccination records you enter, including dates and custom vaccine names
- Any care reminders you set, such as grooming or deworming, including product names if you add them
- Weight entries and symptom notes, if you log them
If you choose to upload them, we also store:
- A photo of your pet. We resize it before storing it.
- Documents about your pet, such as vaccination certificates, vet prescriptions, lab reports or registration papers. We accept JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC and PDF files up to 10 MB each.
A document may contain more than your pet’s details, for example your name, address or phone number printed on a vet bill. We store the file exactly as you upload it. If you do not want those details stored, cover or crop them before uploading.
Please do not upload Aadhaar, PAN, passport, bank or other identity or financial documents. We do not need them, and the platform is not built to hold them.
When you visit our website or use our tools, Google Analytics records anonymous usage information: which pages are visited, which tools are used, the type of device and browser, and the approximate region (city or state level). We send it events such as “schedule generated” with the animal type. We do not send it your email address, your pet’s name or anything you upload.
What we do NOT store:
- We do not ask for your name, phone number, address or payment details
- We do not store any password — signing in uses a one-time code sent to your email
- We do not track your precise location
Why we store it
- To generate your pet’s vaccination schedule
- To email you that schedule
- To send reminders before a vaccination or care task is due
- To let you sign in and see, download or share your pet’s records
- To keep your pet’s photo and documents in one place for you
- To understand, in anonymous totals, which pages and tools are useful, so we can improve them
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not use your records, photos or documents to train AI models.
Who can see it
Your records and documents: only you. They are visible only when you are signed in with the email address they were saved under. Documents are kept in private storage.
Your pet’s photo: it is stored at a long, unguessable web address so it can be shown in your Pet Passport. The address is not listed or published anywhere, but anyone who has the exact link can open the photo. Please use a photo of your pet only, not one that shows people, your house number or your vehicle.
When you share: if you download a PDF or use the WhatsApp, Facebook, Telegram or copy buttons, what you share goes to the people or app you choose. That is under your control, not ours.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with groomers, boarding centres, veterinary clinics, advertisers, insurers or any other business (except anonymised totals if you choose to allow them; see “Optional anonymised statistics” below). If we ever want to share anything with a partner, we will ask you first, specifically, and you can say no.
Service providers we use to run the platform, who process data on our behalf and only for that purpose:
- Supabase — our database and file storage, hosted in Mumbai, India
- Google (Gmail) — to send you emails
- Make.com — to schedule and send reminder emails
- Google Analytics — anonymous website and tool usage statistics
- Lovable — hosts the Pet Passport and Vaccination Tracker apps
- Hostinger — hosts our website
Connecting an AI assistant (optional)
You can choose to connect an AI assistant to your Pet Passport. If you do, you will be asked to approve the connection first. The assistant can then read your pets’ profiles and upcoming care, and log entries such as weight on your instruction. The assistant’s own company handles what you say to it under its own privacy policy. You can disconnect at any time, and nothing is connected unless you set it up.
Where it is stored
Your records, photos and documents are stored in our database in the Mumbai region, India. Some of the service providers listed above (for sending emails, scheduling reminders, analytics and hosting) process data on servers outside India to deliver their service.
How long we keep it
For as long as you keep your Pet Passport. If you delete a photo or document, or ask us to, we remove it from storage. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your records, photos and documents. If you stop using the service entirely, write to us and we will remove everything.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you everything we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete a photo, a document, your pet’s records or your entire account
- Stop sending you reminder emails
- Withdraw your consent. We will then stop using your data and delete it, except anything we must keep by law

A note on health information
PawsitiveHoomans is an information and record-keeping tool. It is not a veterinary service, and nothing in it is veterinary advice or a diagnosis.
Vaccination schedules are based on published guidance — WSAVA guidelines for dogs and cats, and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) schedule for cattle — and timing varies by vet, vaccine and region. Records and documents you add are your own; we do not check or verify them. Always confirm with a qualified veterinarian.
Anti-rabies vaccination is legally required in India.
Children
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If we change what we store or why, we will update this notice and ask for your consent again where required. The version and date appear at the top. Version 1.0 applied until 30 September 2026.
Optional anonymised statistics
When you sign in to Pet Passport, you can choose to tick a separate, optional box that lets us use your pet’s records in anonymised statistics about animal health in India. This box is never ticked for you, and you can use every part of Pet Passport without ticking it.
What we use, only if you tick the box: details from your pet’s records, such as species, breed, approximate age and vaccination dates.
What we never use for this: your name, your email address, your contact details, or any photo or document you upload.
How it works:
- We combine records into totals and percentages, for example “how many pets in a city are vaccinated against rabies”.
- We never publish or share a figure that is based on fewer than 10 animals, so that no pet or person can be picked out.
- We may publish these anonymised totals on our website, or share them with animal welfare groups, veterinarians, researchers or local authorities. The totals contain no personal data.
- We never use these statistics to make any decision about you or your pet, to show you advertising, or to contact you.
- We never sell personal data.
Changing your mind: you can switch this off at any time under “Privacy choices” in your Pet Passport, or by emailing us. From then on, your pet’s records are left out of any new statistics. Totals we have already published cannot be taken back, but they never contained your personal data.
Records saved without this choice: if you did not tick the box, including records saved before this option existed, your pet’s records are never used for statistics.
